Following the First Mayoral Forum on Mobility, Migration and Development held in Barcelona in June 2014, UNU-GCM is pleased to collaborate once again with UNITAR for the Second Mayoral Forum. It will be held on 12th-13th November 2015 in the city of Quito. GCM has contributed to the Forum with a policy brief entitled ‘Practicing Diversity’.

The annual Mayoral Forum on Mobility, Migration and Development is a City-led global initiative supported by UNITAR and its partners to gather city leaders from around the world to strategize and propose new and innovative approaches to urban governance in contexts of greater diversity.
