Judith Butler offered an academic seminar to discuss her work, hosted by the CCCB and co-organized by UNU-GCM. The event was moderated by Judit Carrera, head of the CCCB´s lectures and conferences programme. Three academics participated in the exchange with Butler:

• Parvati Nair, Director of UNU-GCM,
• Marta Segarra, Professor of French Literature and Gender Studies at the University of Barcelona
• Patrícia Soley-Beltran, sociologist expert in gender studies

Each delivered a paper discussing Butler’s work in relation to their respective fields, and Butler then responded to their comments and questions. Butler exchanged with seminar participants about diverse aspects of her work, including gender, precarity, and embodiment.
